This is an endpoint that will return a masked version of the customer’s phone number as configured within SkipTheDishes. You may use this number to contact your customer to resolve any order issues that may arise.
The masked phone number is specifically paired to the provided order ID and restaurant phone number. You must call the customer using the restaurant phone number that was provided in your original request.
The customer phone number will remain valid for up to 15 minutes. The timer will restart if the customer does not answer your incoming call. Once a call has been established, the customer phone number will expire immediately after the call is completed.
Do not request a masked customer phone number until the restaurant is ready to contact the customer. If you request a number but determine it is no longer required, please discard the number manually by calling the “Close Session” endpoint.
